She Reads Retreat Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Because She Reads Retreats require significant advance commitments for accommodations, meals, activities, materials, and other expenses, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all retreat reservations.

Deposits

A minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your retreat spot. Guests may also choose to pay their retreat balance in full at the time of booking.

Your spot is not secured until at least 50% of your total retreat cost has been received.

Final Payment

Any remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 90 days before the retreat.

If your remaining balance is not received by the payment deadline, She Reads Bookshop reserves the right to cancel your reservation and offer the spot to another guest. Payments already made will not be refunded.

If You Need to Cancel

All retreat payments are non-refundable due to the advance costs and commitments associated with planning the retreat.

If you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your reservation to another guest. All replacement guests must be approved by She Reads Bookshop before a transfer is considered complete.

If She Reads Bookshop is able to successfully fill your canceled spot with another guest and payment from the replacement guest has been received, payments you made beyond your original non-refundable deposit will be refunded. Your original deposit remains non-refundable.

A replacement guest is not guaranteed, and She Reads Bookshop is not responsible for finding one.

Travel & Personal Expenses

Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to and from the retreat.

She Reads Bookshop is not responsible for airfare, transportation, lodging outside of the retreat dates, travel disruptions, personal expenses, or other costs incurred by a guest.

Travel insurance is strongly encouraged.

If She Reads Bookshop Cancels the Retreat

If She Reads Bookshop cancels the retreat and the retreat cannot proceed, guests will receive a refund of retreat payments made to She Reads Bookshop.

She Reads Bookshop is not responsible for reimbursing airfare, transportation, or other travel expenses booked separately by attendees.

Changes to the Retreat

Retreat schedules, activities, meals, and other details may change due to weather, availability, safety considerations, or circumstances outside of our control. Reasonable substitutions or itinerary changes do not constitute a cancellation of the retreat and do not qualify for a refund.

Agreement to This Policy

By submitting payment toward a She Reads Retreat reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
